Trenance Valley, Native Woodland

A new woodland copse funded by The Silvanus Trust planted in January 2013 - on possibly the only sunny day that month! The woodland can be found next to the putting green.

The newly planted trees include: Hazel Corylus avellana, Wild Cherry Prunus avium, Hornbeam Carpinus betulus, Horse Chestnut Aeculus hippocastanum, Sweet Chestnut Castanea sativa and Rowan Sorbus aucupari and will eventually be under planted with native daffodils.

Help, advice and funding for the project was provided by The Silvanus Trust.
